I grew up on a farm in Beckwith and went to school in town. My wife, Natasha and I met at CPHS.  We bought an old house here and have two kids, Cade (11) and Alice (9).

I bartended at the Carleton Heritage Inn (now Grand Hotel) and the Leatherworks (now Waterfront Gastropub) while attending university (economics) and college (heritage masonry).

I started my own masonry company here in 2011.  My team is experienced and dedicated, which allows me to step back and have time to work with the town as required.

I have been involved in committee work in town since 2009.

Committees and Boards:
Municipal Heritage Committee
Canada 150 Celebration Committee
CP 200 Celebration Committee
Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors
Daycare Board
Library Board
Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority Board of Directors.

I have always had success working with a team.  I recognize strengths in others, and I also know when others need me to step up and take the lead.  This attitude has led to many positive outcomes for our town hopefully this term it can lead to more success.
I decided to run for council to try to preserve a small-town atmosphere so that my own kids and others could have that experience today and into the future.
