Description of Departmental Responsibilities:
 
  • Manage a workforce of approximately sixty full and part-time staff, planning and development of services for the community, working with outside agencies for the benefit of families in the community and acting as a resource to members of the public in relation to child care and family related concerns.
  • Oversee the financial stability of the services offered
  • Oversee operations maintaining a high quality of service while meeting or exceeding provincial standards for licensing of programs.
