Brush Strokes was founded by local artist Faye Lavergne in December 2007.  Located in the heart of downtown Carleton Place, Brush Strokes Art Supplies and Gallery is an innovative retail art space dedicated to servicing the needs of artists, art lovers and more.

Brush Strokes caters to its customers by providing unique one-stop shopping experience where you can admire and purchase art painted by local artists as well as purchase art supplies and accessories while sipping on a fabulous cup of home brewed specialty coffee or tea.  Explore your creativity by taking art lessons offered to both adults and children, or drop by one of our monthly ?Vernissage? exhibitions featuring local artists.

We are located at the Train Station, 132 Coleman Street, Carleton Place, ON. All gifts are created locally by area artists and businesses. If you need to purchase a special gift for that person on your list then a stop at our Gallery is a must!

Our products include one of a kind pieces of art, photography, pottery, jewellery and unique products created by one of our own artists. There is definitely something for everyone. Chances are you may know one of the artists.

The historic train station is also the home of the Carleton Place Information Centre where you are able to obtain maps, get directions, as well as find out what is happening in the community.

The Information Centre and Gallery is managed with the cooperation of The Carleton Place Chamber of Commerce and Arts Carleton Place.
