Background:
Born and raised in Carleton Place, Louis resides in the town with his wife Melanie and two children, Ana and Dean. He operates a local property management company. This is Louis's first term as Councillor for the Town of Carleton Place. He is an active member of his community and has spearheaded the creation of many new committees.

Interests:
Banking and finance, small business development, the environment, green energy, heritage preservation , technology, travel, cooking, badminton, tennis, hockey, skiing, soccer, formula one racing.

Community Vision:
Louis supports and brings forth innovative ideas that help shape Carleton Place. He is committed to hospital redevelopment and creating community partnerships between new and existing organizations or groups that foster a high quality of life for all town residents and businesses. It is paramount to Louis that process and procedures be adhered to when making decisions regarding the Town's future growth, annexation and economic development. He feels strongly that residents must be informed and participate in discussions about issues that govern their community.
