By-law Enforcement

The Town presently has 2 By-law Enforcement Officers, located in the Fire Station, who, along with our OPP officers, are responsible for enforcement of a variety of municipal by-laws. These include but certainly are not limited to:
• Property Standards By-law 64-2008
• Traffic and Parking By-law 46-2003
• Noise By-law 04-2005
• Lawn Watering By-law 19-2002
• Yard Maintenance By-law 25-2008
• Stoop and Scoop By-law 89-2004
• Sign By-law 63-2008

Additionally, the Town has an Animal Control Officer under contract to enforce the Animal Control By-law 25-2005 and transport animals to the pound. To contact the Animal Control Officer, please call (613) 809-7048.
