Emergency Preparedness
In the event of an emergency here in Carleton Place, an Emergency Control Management Group will meet to co-ordinate the emergency. Members of the public are encouraged to listen to the following local radio and television stations for updates and bulletins:
- Lake 88.1 FM - JACK FM 92.3 FM - CBC Television - Cable 8 Ottawa Local residents can also assist the emergency personnel by ensuring that each family or home has a three day emergency kit.
