The Town of Carleton Place received a grant from the Ministry of Health Promotion, Communities in Action Fund, to prepare a Culture, Parks and Recreation Master Plan. Lashley & Associates, in partnership with Anne Robinson & Associates, worked with Community stakeholders to identify community needs and priorities related to culture, parks and recreation and develop recommendations as to how these needs should be addressed and services delivered in the next ten years.

 

The plan was finalized in Spring of 2009 and provides key benchmark information, a focus for community discussion, a framework for future decisions, support for future funding requests and builds a common vision for the future.
