Christiane Saumier Hired as New Bylaw Officer

The Corporation of the Town of Carleton Place is pleased to announce that Christiane Saumier has been hired as a By-Law Enforcement Officer. Christiane has direct municipal experience having previously worked in the position for the City of Clarence-Rockland.

“I am looking forward to getting to know the community,” says Saumier. “Monday was my first day and everyone has been so friendly and welcoming”.

The By-law Department is responsible for the compliance and enforcement of municipal by-laws and applicable provincial statues related to property standards, signs, yard maintenance, noise, and parking.

“Christiane brings with her a lot of great experience and I think she will fit in nicely with the team here in Carleton Place,” says Pascal Meunier, Director of Protective Services.
