Construction Update - June 8, 2018

Carambeck Community Centre
In the next few days crews will begin the process to install concrete curbs and a sidewalk in the newly established parking area.

On Wednesday June 13th, crews will begin the process of connecting the new large water service to the distribution system, in order to do this crews will be turning off water to the pool and adjacent properties.  Residents affected by the water shut off have been notified in writing.  Programming at the Pool will be cancelled on June 13th however the office will remain open for registrations.

We would also like to encourage residents to be mindful of construction vehicles in the vicinity of construction zones and to supervise children at all times.

Roe Street Development & Forcemain Expansion
Cavanagh Construction will continue with hoe-ramming activities along Hooper Street and will be laying pipe for the new 350mm sanitary forcemain.  Crews will be installing the watermain and sanitary sewer on Roe Street.

The Town of Carleton Place will be releasing these regular updates to keep residents informed of construction activities on the various streets and updates will be posted each Friday on the Town’s website and Town social media networks.  We ask for everyone’s patience and cooperation during the construction season, however, should a member of the public have any concerns or questions, please contact the Public Works Office (613-257-2253).
