Ride the LT - Survey Lanark Transportation Association is a not-for-profit that connects people with life-enhancing supports and services.  They provide transportation to families, seniors, children, youth and others living in Lanark County and the Town of Smiths Falls so they can attend medical appointments, day programs, counselling services, social service appointments, food programs, etc. Lanark Transportation Association started a new program in 2018 called “Ride the LT”.  The LT is a community bus service providing transportation services to residents within the community on a certain day(s) per

Library Wins National Award The Carleton Place Public Library is celebrating a big win, Grand Prize in the 2018 TD Summer Reading Club Awards. Christiane Saumier Hired as New Bylaw Officer The Corporation of the Town of Carleton Place is pleased to announce that Christiane Saumier has been hired as a By-Law Enforcement Officer.
