SUMMARY:CP Youth Landscape Art Competition Info Session
DESCRIPTION:This year\, we’re going to begin what we hope is an annual Art Competition for kids. The theme this year is “The Beauty of Carleton Place” and will celebrate local landscapes and special architecture.\nKids aged 7-18 are invited to find out how this one-day event will work in June\, and what they can do to prepare. There will be great prizes for winners in three age groups\, and the whole event will be followed by a two-week Art Show in the Library as well as an opportunity for kids to sell the art they create during the competition.\nThis event is proudly in partnership with The Art Hub and Arts Carleton Place.  Parents should plan on attending this Info Session with their young artist to find out how the competition will work.\nFollowing the Info Session\, information will be available at the library and on our website in case you can’t make it.
