SUMMARY:The Play That Goes Wrong
DESCRIPTION:The Play That Goes Wrong is a fast-paced farce about an amateur theatre troupe attempting to stage a 1920s murder mystery—with disastrously hilarious results. From collapsing sets and missing props to forgotten lines and mistimed sound effects\, everything that can go wrong does. \nDirected by long-time MUDDS veterans\, Sylvia Giles and Chris Jones\, ticket holders are in for a treat! Audiences will enjoy the physical comedy\, clever wordplay\, surprise twists\, and the sheer chaos of live theatre on the brink of disaster. This ‘play within a play’ is a joyful celebration of imperfection that keeps viewers laughing from the first accident to the final curtain. \nNo refunds or exchanges after May 2. \nThe Play That Goes Wrong

SUMMARY:Indigenous Cultural Fair
DESCRIPTION:This annual event is a primary fundraiser for Art for Aid that sees Indigenous culture celebrated and embraced in the town of Carleton Place. Hosted by Zion Memorial United Church and the Carleton Place Public Library\, this well supported event brings authentic Indigenous artists and makers together\, along with a host of activities and workshops for all ages that invite cultural education and exploration while supporting and promoting the Art for Aid program.
