As a wife and a mama to 3 children (Jackson, Alex, and Lyla) I am so happy that my family gets to call Carleton Place home. I grew up on a farm in Gillies Corners and my family history runs deep in this area. I spent time as a young adult travelling, attending university and working in various fields (from Administration to IT) before returning to this area, first to Smiths Falls in 2007 and then to Carleton Place in 2009. For me, being part of creating a hometown where my children can experience the type of deep-rooted connection that I had growing up matters to me.

I work from home as a Technical Writer and am the owner/operator of Ariza Consulting. My family and I enjoy participating in local events, visiting our favourite shops, and spending time walking our area trails and visiting the parks.

I am grateful that my community has honoured me with the opportunity to serve on municipal council and I look forward to the next 4 years as part of this team.
