With the continued need for physical distancing due to COVID-19, the Town of Carleton Place Council will hold its first virtual Council and Committee of the Whole meeting via Zoom on April 7th, 2020.
On March 19th the Province of Ontario passed the Municipal Emergency Act, 2020 to permit virtual participation in Council, Committee and Local Board meetings. March 25th, Council passed an amendment to the Town’s procedural by-law to allow virtual meetings during a declared emergency.

Members of the public can view the meetings online using the link on the Upcoming Meeting
Agendas page https://carletonplace.ca/councilmeetingsagendasp65.php or any time after the meetings on the Town’s Facebook page.
Members of the public who have an interest in a matter listed on the agenda are encouraged to email questions or comments relating to an item on the agenda to members of Council or staff prior to the meeting. As always, persons who wish to register to speak to an item on the agenda are required to contact the Clerk by 12 noon on Monday, April 6, 2020.
