Chandos Construction, the company that is working on the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital’s new Emergency Department has received approval from the Town under Noise By-Law No. 29-2017 to perform work for one (1) extra hour until 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023. This is to allow them to perform the milestone activity of pouring a slab-on-grade foundation. This is an 11,000 square foot addition and requires site preparation, pouring the concrete, finishing the concrete, and completing the saw cuts of the slab all within one (1) continuous exercise.
