2022 Draft Budget

Public Comment Period - During last night's Committee of the Whole meeting, Treasurer Trisa McConkey presented the draft 2022 budget to the public for consideration. Council is proposing a 1.97% levy increase which represents an increase of $38.96 based on a home assessed at $284,500 which is the median home value in Carleton Place for 2021.

The Treasurer’s budget presentation is available for viewing on the Town’s website.

The public now has the opportunity to provide input on the proposed levy increase until 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021. Please email tmcconkey@carletonplace.ca with any comments before the December 14th deadline.


A Special Meeting of Council will be held on Thursday, December 16th, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of approving the Town’s 2022 budget.


A public meeting on the proposed 2022 budget will take place on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021 at the Committee of the Whole meeting. Council is proposing a 1.97% levy increase which represents an increase of $37.47 based on a home assessed at $284,000 which is the median home value in Carleton Place for 2021.
