Civic Holiday Waste Collection Due to the Civic Day holiday on Monday, August 2nd, 2021 garbage & recycling will not be collected on Monday and will instead occur on Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021. To ensure collection: Please have your items at the curb no later than 7:00 a.m. on your collection day. Please note residents are permitted one (1) unstickered bag of waste (max. 15kg) per week and any additional bags or large items must be tagged accordingly.  Stickers can be purchased from the Town Hall or from Shoppers Drug Mart on McNeely Avenue. Blasting Notice Coleman Central Subdivision - Noremac Drillers Inc. will be on-site at the Coleman Central Subdivision on August 9th to begin blasting activities on behalf of the developer, Cavanagh Developments, in advance of construction of the second phase of this subdivision.  Blasting operations are expected to be completed within three (3) months.  Once blasting commences, any questions or concerns can be forwarded to Guy Bourgon, Director of Public Works, at gbourgon@carletonplace.ca for a response.
