Bridge Street Reconstruction – Starting May 2nd!
With the reconstruction of Bridge Street rapidly approaching, Public Works staff have started replacing water valves to ensure all the critical components are replaced prior to Louis Bray starting their work. Public Works staff are coordinating this work with adjacent businesses to minimize any impacts and although no road closures are planned, there may be some temporary reduction in the availability of parking spaces in order to complete this necessary work. It is anticipated that this work will continue for the next two (2) weeks.
Mill Street Bridge
Residents may have noticed Louis Bray crews working in the vicinity of the Mill Street Bridge. Crews have been waiting for favorable weather conditions to complete concrete work on this structure.
Central Bridge Replacement
Despite the challenges with the spring runoff and flows within the Mississippi River, Louis Bray’s crews are continuing with the rehabilitation work on the piers.
