Moore Street Pedestrian Crossover
The Town of Carleton Place would like to advise residents that construction has begun on the new pedestrian crossover which is scheduled to be installed on May 26th where the Ottawa Valley Recreation Trail (OVRT) intersects with Moore Street. There may be slight delays in the flow of traffic while crews are installing the pedestrian crossover.
Lane Closure – Franktown Road - Residents should be aware the northbound lane of Franktown Road will be closed to vehicle traffic at Coleman Street from Tuesday, May 25th through to Thursday, May 27th for the installation of a new watermain for Miguel Street. Detour routes will be in place for northbound traffic.
Bell Street (Bridge Street to Mullett Street)
Louis Bray Construction will continue with the installation of underground infrastructure along Bell Street from Bridge Street to Mullett Street. Access to businesses is being maintained. Please follow the signage provided on-site.
The Town of Carleton Place asks for everyone’s help in ensuring safe and efficient work zones. We encourage residents to avoid all construction zones, however, should residents be travelling within the construction zones, we urge you to proceed with caution and follow the directions provided by traffic control personnel and posted construction signage.
