Notice of Public Meeting - Building Permit Fees

The Corporation of the Town of Carleton Place is proposing minor changes to the Building Permit Fee Schedule.  This change will remove non-utilized fees, merge projects into one (1) standardized fee, address third-party review costs and provide clarification of some projects.  As per Section 7(1)(c) in the Building Code Act, a public meeting will be held to discuss the proposed fee adjustments and provide rationale for the changes.

The 2022 Building Permit Fee breakdown and synopsis of the proposed changes can be viewed prior to the meeting.

Hard copies of the documents can be obtained at the Town Hall Reception Desk located at 175 Bridge Street, Carleton Place, ON, K7C 2V8 or by calling 613-257-6204.

Interested parties are invited to attend the public meeting to give feedback.

Time: After 7:00 p.m., During the Town Fees By-Law Discussion as part of the Committee of the Whole
