Art After Dark

Enjoy illuminated art in downtown Carleton Place! 

Stroll through the historic heart of town while enjoying some evening shopping, and experience the enchantment of downtown Carleton Place as the streets come alive with illuminated art. 

Streetscape Showcase 

The Downtown Carleton Place Business Improvement Association (BIA) has launched Streetscape Showcase – an innovative placemaking project designed to engage visitors with light, colour and artwork in the heritage downtown district after dark.

At six locations along the historic and renovated Bridge Street, projectors cast colourful artwork onto the sidewalks, between the Moore House (Carleton Place Visitor Information Centre) and the post office.

Central Bridge 

Carleton Place's new central bridge is a key connector in our community spanning over the Mississippi River. After dusk, the entirety of Central Bridge illuminates, and the water beneath it. The lights are programmable and lit up for holidays and special events.
