Carleton Place Chamber of Commerce

The Carleton Place Chamber of Commerce strives to create an atmosphere that is conducive to strong and prosperous businesses. The Chamber of Commerce supports local business through:

  • Developing programs and services for members, including workshops and seminars
  • Delivering tourism products and services on behalf of the Town of Carleton Place
  • Managing the Carleton Place Information Center and Gift Shop.

The Carleton Place Business Improvement Area (BIA)

The BIA has several important mandates - the beautification and promotion of the downtown corridor, and the social development of the downtown of Carleton Place as a vibrant hub of the community.

The BIA also organizes some of the biggest events in Carleton Place, including:

Valley Heartland Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC)

The CFDC is a community based organization providing services to businesses and communities in Lanark County and North Leeds. The goal is to assist rural communities like Carleton Place by strengthening and diversifying their economies.
