Construction Update - August 17 2018 The Carleton Place Public Works Department would like to extend our sincere appreciation to residents of Carleton Place for their patience and understanding during this busy construction season.  We would like to encourage residents to avoid the construction zones if possible, however, should residents be travelling along the detours we urge you to proceed with caution and follow the directions provided by the Traffic Control persons and/or posted construction signage. Wednesday Evening Compost Option Ending Soon Wednesday Compost Yard Option - Only 3 evenings left!!!!   August 29th will be the final Wednesday evening the compost yard will be open for this season. The compost yard will remain open Saturday mornings (8:00 a.m-noon) until early November, weather permitting.

HHW Closing for Season September 1 There are only three Saturdays left for residents to use the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) facility before it closes for the season at noon on Saturday, September 1st. Residents can bring their household hazardous waste products to our drop off facility located at 128 Patterson Crescent from 8:00 a.m to noon on Saturday, August 18th, August 25th and September 1st. Items will not be accepted after September 1, 2018.  The HHW facility will reopen in May 2019.

Notice of Completion ADDENDA TO THE TOWN OF CARLETON PLACE WATER TREATMENT PLANT CAPACITY EXPANSION MASTER PLAN AND WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT CAPACITY EXPANSION MASTER PLAN The Town of Carleton Place originally completed Master Plans for their Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Capacity Expansion and Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) Capacity Expansion in 2011. Updates are now completed to the 2011 WTP and WPCP Master Plans. Changes to the 2011 Master Plans as a result of this update include revised capital costing and projected timing for future plant upgrades. No other changes have been made at this time
