Update - Pool Closure
UPDATE - The Carleton Place Public Swimming Pool will remain closed on Tuesday, March 26th 2019 and will REOPEN on Wednesday, March 27th at 7:30a.m
Due to a leak in the water supply line to the public pool, the pool will be closed until at least Tuesday, March 26th, 2019.
Any updates will be posted as they become available.
Please Note: the pool office will remain open Monday through Friday 8:00am to 7:00pm to accept registrations and payments.

Icy Sidewalk Conditions
Carleton Place Public Works Department would like to thank residents for their patience over the course of this winter. We recognize that the season has been unique with a large number of thaw/freeze events.
We are currently experiencing running water from the recent melt over existing icy sidewalks which creates a situation where salt and/or sand application has become ineffective.
Public Works Staff will be deploying resources when conditions are more favourable to address the situation.
Please use extreme caution this week. If possible, travel on sidewalks should be avoided

Central Bridge - Notice of Study Completion
MUNICIPAL CLASS ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT FOR REPLACEMENT OF THE CENTRAL BRIDGE
The Town of Carleton Place has completed a Class Environmental Assessment study to address structural deficiencies and load capacity issues on Central Bridge and other related works including consideration for additional pedestrian facilities and repairs to Gillies Bridge, and modifications to the Mill Street Bridge further to the east to accommodate planned redevelopment on McArthur Island.
