Council and Committee of the Whole Meetings
The Town of Carleton Place Council will hold its Council and Committee of the Whole meetings in-person at the Carleton Place Town Hall (175 Bridge Street) and via live stream, on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023, starting at 6:00 p.m. The agenda and associated documents for the meetings are available on the Town’s website. Members of the public can view the meeting online via Zoom or a live stream on the Town Hall Facebook page.
These are the last regularly scheduled meetings of 2023. Committee of the Whole will begin at 6:00 p.m. followed by Council so that all items can be approved before the end of the year.
The first regularly scheduled meetings in 2024 will be on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024.
Miller’s Crossing & Coleman Central Neighbourhood Park Plan Open House
The Town of Carleton Place Recreation & Culture Department invites residents to attend an Open House for public consultation on the park developments at Miller’s Crossing (Fanning Street), and Coleman Central (Nelson Street East) on Tuesday, December 12th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
This event will take place at the Carleton Place Arena (75 Neelin Street) in the Bob Rintoul Hall.

ServiceOntario Partnering with Retailers to Enhance Access to Services - Staples Canada helping Ontario bring government services to where people live, work and shop
The Ontario government is making it easier and more convenient for families and businesses to access vital government services such as driver’s licences and health cards. Beginning in early 2024, ServiceOntario is opening new centres in select Staples Canada stores with additional locations expected to open throughout the year.
