Employment Opportunities - Summer Students

The Town of Carleton Place is accepting applications for the following Summer Student positions:

  • Building Administrative Summer Student
  • Student Planner

Building Administrative Summer Student - The 2024 pay grid for the position is $16.55, based on minimum wage, over 18 years of age, and the position is scheduled for 36.25-hour work week.   

Student Planner - The 2024 pay grid for the position is $17.56 - $22.33 based on a 36.25-hour work week.   

Qualified candidates are invited to submit a detailed cover letter and CV outlining your credentials relevant to the position, using PDF or docx format. Please be advised that the Town reserves the right to post its employment opportunities as open until filled. Resume reviews may begin immediately and continue until the posted position is filled and any position can be filled prior to the closing date.  Applications must be received no later than 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 28th, 2024, quoting the title of the position you are applying for by mail: Town of Carleton Place, Attn Human Resources, 175 Bridge Street, Carleton Place, ON, K7C 2V8 or by email at hr@carletonplace.ca

Carleton Place Library March Break Calendar

Our March Break calendar is now out! You can pick up a hard copy at the Library or download a calendar from the Library’s website.

We'll have lots of fun events for all ages -- special activities each day (please make sure you note which ones require registration), as well as daily free-play activities that everyone can enjoy anytime you come to the Library that week. It's going to be big and busy and lots of fun!

Admission: FREE, Donations are appreciated
