Employment Opportunities - Summer Students

The Town of Carleton Place is accepting applications for the following Summer Student positions:

• Building Administrative Summer Student
• Student Planner

Building Administrative Summer Student - The 2024 pay grid for the position is $16.55, based on minimum wage, over 18 years of age, and the position is scheduled for 36.25-hour work week.   

Student Planner - The 2024 pay grid for the position is $17.56 - $22.33 based on a 36.25-hour work week.   

Qualified candidates are invited to submit a detailed cover letter and CV outlining your credentials relevant to the position, using PDF or docx format. Carleton Place Library March Break Calendar

Our March Break calendar is now out! You can pick up a hard copy at the Library or download a calendar from the Library’s website.

We'll have lots of fun events for all ages -- special activities each day (please make sure you note which ones require registration), as well as daily free-play activities that everyone can enjoy anytime you come to the Library that week. It's going to be big and busy and lots of fun!

Family Day Movie Afternoon

Join us on Family Day, February 19th, 2024, as we proudly present our first Indoor Movie of the Year: Trolls Band Together!

Show time: 2:00 p.m.
Admission: FREE, Donations are appreciated
Capacity: 200

There will be a snack canteen on site.
