Employment Opportunity – Property Maintenance Worker

The Town of Carleton Place is seeking an individual to fill the full-time position of Property Maintenance Worker.

Summary: 

Reporting to the Property Maintenance Team Lead, the Property Maintenance Worker is responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of the Town’s Facilities.

Qualification/Experience:

1. Secondary School Diploma,
2. Other Certificates required:

• Working at Heights - Construction
• Propane Safety and Handling
• Control of Hazardous Energy (Lock Out Tag Out) CSA (Z460) Training
• Standard First Aid and CPR,

3. A minimum of three (3) years’ progressive operational and maintenance experience in a complex, multi-facility work environment, and
4. A Criminal Reference Check (valid to 6 months of employment).

The 2024 pay grid for the position is $25.02 - $32.13 based on a 40-hour work week.  In addition, a comprehensive benefit package with 100% employer-paid premiums for health, dental, life, short/long term disability is provided plus a pension plan with matching employer contribution.
