Fred Eaglesmith Returns to Carleton Place

The Town of Carleton Place is pleased to present Fred Eaglesmith at the Town Hall Auditorium on June 8th, 2024.

Ontario native Fred Eaglesmith is a successful musician with 40 years of performing and 20+ albums within his repertoire. Perhaps best known for his single “Trucker Speed,” Eaglesmith has toured towns and cities across the continent, singing about vehicles, rural life, down-and-out characters, lost love, and quirky rural folk. In doing so, he has earned international accolades, gold records, a spot on David Letterman, and songs covered by recording stars such as Miranda Lambert, Allan Jackson and Toby Keith.

General admission tickets are available through online purchasing. With a limited capacity of 190, this event will sell out, so fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Ontario Helping Rural Communities Grow With More Jobs, Homes and Infrastructure - Province making historic investments to support the unique needs of rural municipalities

The Ontario government announced the latest steps in its plan to invest in rural communities and municipalities at the annual Rural Ontario Municipal Association (ROMA) conference, with measures that will help to strengthen rural economies, get more homes and housing-enabling infrastructure built and increase access to important local services in rural areas.
