The Public Works Department would like to remind residents that weather, staffing, and supply of materials can impact our construction schedules. The following activities are anticipated for the upcoming week:
Thomas Street (Townline Road to Bridge Street)
The Town of Carleton Place and Cavanagh Construction would like to remind residents that Thomas Street remains closed between McKenzie Street and Bridge Street to facilitate the installation of underground infrastructure.
Concrete crews will be working on Thomas Street between McKenzie Street and Bridge Street repairing broken sidewalk panels and installing new curbs over the next week. We apologize to our residents for any disruption to driveway access during this period.
Joseph Street Pumping Station
Now that the force mains have been reconnected, crews will begin the process to backfill the trench. Crews will also be on site to work on utility connections.
