The Public Works Department would like to remind residents that weather, staffing, and supply of materials can impact our construction schedules. The following activities are anticipated for the upcoming week:
Thomas Street (Townline Road to Bridge Street)
The Town of Carleton Place and Cavanagh Construction would like to remind residents that Thomas Street remains closed between McKenzie Street and Bridge Street to facilitate the installation of underground infrastructure presently underway.
Asphalt crews have completed base course on Thomas Street between McKenzie Street and Townline Road. Crews will be working on repairing driveways and boulevards next week.
Joseph Street Pumping Station
Work continues to progress with the installation of the gas servicing and grounding grid, backfilling of the excavation, bollard placement and HVAC system installation.
