Compost Yard Closing - Curbside Leaf Collection

REMINDER - This Saturday, November 4th, 2023, will be the final day of the 2023 season that residents can deliver yard waste to the compost yard due to Remembrance Day falling on a Saturday this year. The yard will be open on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Curbside Leaf Collection

The curbside collection of leaves begins on Monday, October 30th.  The collection period is limited and will end on November 10th.

Due to the massive volume of leaves that are placed at the curb, Public Works is requesting your patience as it will take some time for the leaves to be collected. Please leave your bags at the curb and we will do our best to collect them in a timely manner.

 

Please follow these few rules to ensure collection in a timely manner:

• Leaves must be placed at the curb in paper bags before 8:00 a.m.
• Leaves in plastic bags will NOT be collected!
• Bags of leaves must NOT exceed 15kgs (33lbs). Bags exceeding the weight limit will NOT be collected.
