The Public Works Department would like to remind residents that weather, staffing, and supply of materials can impact our construction schedules. The following activities are anticipated for the upcoming week:
Thomas Street (Townline Road to Bridge Street)
Cavanagh Construction has now completed the underground infrastructure portion of the project. Crews will now be focusing on the placement of granular, curb and sidewalk installation, and grading in preparation for two lifts of asphalt.
Joseph Street Pumping Station
Work continues to progress with the installation of the concrete collar around the top of the wet well. Work will be continuing on the new electrical systems and granular materials will be laid in preparation for the installation of asphalt in the coming weeks.
