The Public Works Department would like to remind residents that weather, staffing, and supply of materials can impact our construction schedules. The following activities are anticipated for the upcoming week:
Thomas Street (Townline Road to Bridge Street)
Cavanagh Construction has now completed the installation of the new concrete curbs and concrete for the sidewalks is currently being poured as well as the installation of sod. Crews will begin adjusting the iron structures within the roadway in preparation for asphalt to be placed next week.
Joseph Street Pumping Station
Work is continuing with the pumping station’s electrical systems. Asphalt reinstatement to be completed by the end of November.
