The Historical Society cordially invites you to attend our Coronation Picnic on Sunday, May 7th, 2023 from 1pm to 4pm.
King Charles III's coronation will take place on Saturday 6 May 2023 at Westminster Abbey in London. During the ceremony, the King will be crowned alongside Camilla, the Queen Consort.
Along with many other communities in the Commonwealth, we're hosting a Coronation Picnic!
This event takes place Sunday, May 7, 2023, from 1 - 4 pm at the Carleton Place and Beckwith Heritage Museum, 267 Edmund Street.
Bring a picnic lunch, a picnic blanket and friends and settle in for a fun afternoon! This is a great chance to meet and connect with your neighbours and celebrate our newly crowned King.
Wear your best crown! (or make one at our craft table!)
We'll supply the lemonade and cake!
