SEASONAL PHOTO CONTEST
The Town of Carleton Place is known for its picturesque landscape and welcoming community events that surround our beautifully inviting small town. We want to capture the magic of Carleton Place, and what makes our town special, as seen through the eyes of our residents! That is why we are inviting all residents to participate in our Seasonal Photo Contest. Photographers of all ages and abilities are welcome to submit one photo, per season, that captures a small snapshot of the beauty of Carleton Place. The winner of each season will receive a Carleton Place Shop-Local prize pack and will be able to choose a local Carleton Place charity/not-for-profit organization to receive a $125.00 donation.
To be considered for each season, photos must be submitted within the following timeframes:
FALL - October 2nd to December 20th, 2023
WINTER - December 21st to March 20th, 2024
SPRING - March 21st, to June 20th, 2024
SUMMER - June 21st to September 22nd, 2024
Photos must be submitted via email to Jessica Hansen- Community Programmer: email@example.com
Photos must be taken in Carleton Place, within this year. It is the responsibility of the photographer to ensure that any individuals captured in the photo have given permission for their photo to be taken, and for the photo to be submitted for judging & promotional usage.
A surprise judging panel will review all submitted photos on a quarterly basis. The chosen winner will be announced via the Town of Carleton Place’s social media channels. The winning photographer will then choose which local charity/organization they would like a $125.00 donation to be submitted to, and they will be requested to be present for a donation photo to acknowledge their support.
The Town of Carleton Place reserves the right to use any submitted photos for promotional purposes of any nature. Photo credit of the photographer will be provided, where possible. By submitting photos to the Carleton Place Seasonal Photo Contest, you agree to allow the Town of Carleton Place to use your imaging where appropriate.
