Residents are reminded that under By-law 25-2005 every dog or cat owner is required to register their animals. For cats, it is a one-time registration. Dog owners are required to purchase an annual license (sometimes referred to as dog tag) for each dog. These requirements are in place to assist the animal control officers in ensuring that any lost, injured or stray animals can be returned to their owners.

Licenses can be purchased at the Town Hall during regular business hours.

The Treasury Department would appreciate if you could fill out the form below, and drop off the form, including payment, in an envelope in the mail slot at the Police Station located at 15 Coleman Street.
