Recreation and Culture Programming

The Carleton Place Recreation & Culture Department is pleased to offer a variety of programs and special events for residents of all ages and abilities. Below you will find the current programs that are being offered by the Department and their locations. Outdoor Cartoon Drawing Classes

Join us at Carleton Junction this August for Outdoor Cartoon Drawing Classes with Anaska Dee!

Geared to ages 7-12, this four-week program will take place each Saturday from 10:00am - 11:00am under the Carleton Junction Amphitheatre Pavilion. The registration fee is $25.00 per participant- all materials are included.

Anaska Dee has a diploma in Recreation & Leisure Studies at Algonquin College and is currently enrolled in Animation at Algonquin College. He is excited to share his love of cartoon drawing and looks forward to creating an exciting environment for all participants.

This class has a limited capacity, so register soon to avoid disappointment! Parents are welcome to stay while the class is in progress.
