2020 Proposed Budget Treasurer Trisa McConkey presented the proposed 2020 budget which includes a 1.99% levy increase. This represents an increase of $35.25 based on a home valued at $273,750 which is the median home value in Carleton Place for 2019.  The budget presentation and the list of proposed Capital projects is available for viewing below. Hwy 7 Secondary Plan The Ministry of Transportation has retained the firm WSP to undertake an Environmental Assessment (EA) study for improvements to the intersection of Highway #7 and Highway #15 up to and including 500m east of the Highway 7 and McNeely Avenue intersection in the Town of Carleton Place.  In parallel with the EA, a Secondary Planning process is underway for lands surrounding the Highway 7 and 15 intersection.  A Secondary Plan is a planning document illustrating a vision and guiding principles for development and redevelopment in the Secondary Plan area.  The Secondary Plan will be adopted as

DP3-10-2019 An application for a Class III Development Permit has been received for 11 Beckwith Street. DRAFT SECONDARY PLAN Draft Highway 7 Secondary Plan, Schedules and Notice.
