Canada Day in Carleton Place – July 1

“In Our Construction Era” — Riverside Park will look a little different this year, but you can expect the same great celebration vibes.

Bicycle Valet Parking

New this year: the Carleton Place Environmental Advisory Committee is proud to assist in the presentation of a bicycle valet. Travel by bike to the festivities and take comfort in knowing your bicycle will be safely secured.

This project is made possible by funding through the County of Lanark under the Local Tourism Initiatives Fund.

Shuttle Bus

New this year: due to limited parking and to reduce vehicle congestion near Riverside Park, the Town of Carleton Place is pleased to offer free shuttle bus service to and from the event.

Pick-up locations:

  • Carleton Place Arena: 75 Neelin Street
  • Market Square Pavilion: 7 Beckwith Street

Enjoy free parking, hop on the shuttle, and arrive at the entrance of the Carleton Place Canada Day celebrations. When you’re ready to go, head back to the shuttle bus pick-up/drop-off location and wait for the next trip.

Shuttles run continuously from 12:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.
