Neighbourhood Park Parties
What is a Park Party? Park Parties are an opportunity for neighbourhoods to unite, connect with one another, and discover the parks in our town. These events are completely free, and everyone is welcome!

Residents are invited to nominate their neighbourhood park to be selected as a Park Party location for 2025! The Town of Carleton Place will be selecting four (4) neighbourhood parks to be included in this year’s Park Party program.

The Town of Carleton Place will assist in bringing amenities such as: yard games, speaker system, plastic tables, tents (pending availability.) Nominators will be requested to assist in supporting this event by encouraging neighbourhood volunteers, and assisting at the event.

While nominating your neighbourhood park, we invite you to share how you and/or your neighbourhood would like to enhance your Park Party! Grants of up to $200.00 can be provided to each Park Party to allow for the enhancement of additional activities. This could include: a snack for the neighbours, a performer fee for live entertainment, balloons and bubbles for the kids, and more!
