Step 1 – The Marriage Licence

2026 Marriage Licence Fee: $160

Licence Validity: Valid upon issuance. Expires 90 days from issue date

Step 2 – Reserve the Officiant

Officiant fee: Flat rate, $400

Town Hall Square Park

Located just behind the Town Hall on Mill Street, the Town Hall Square is situated right on the Mississippi River with spectacular views.

To use these venues, you must also use the Town’s officiant services, as only staff are authorized to escort residents within the building.

Ceremony and reception venues

The Town has a variety of venue rentals that are perfect for celebrating your special day with family and friends.

Arena Upper Hall

Located upstairs at the Arena, this hall is great for large groups, including wedding receptions. It has a 405-person capacity, is fully licensed, has a spacious kitchen, tables and chairs, elevator access, air conditioning, and a PA system.

Canoe Club

This historic facility, nestled on the shores of the Mississippi River, is home to Canada’s oldest continually operating canoe club. This picturesque venue has a 205-person capacity and can be licensed by a Special Occasion Permit. It has a large deck overlooking the Mississippi River, a kitchen, tables and chairs, elevator access, and air conditioning.

Town Hall Auditorium

Located in our historic Town Hall overlooking the Mississippi River, this venue has a 170-person capacity with round tables and chairs and can be licensed by a Special Occasion Permit. The auditorium offers a theatre-style venue with a spacious backstage area, round tables and chairs, a microphone and pull-down projection screen, elevator access, and air conditioning.
