On this Pink Shirt Day 2024, I, Toby Randell, Mayor of Carleton Place, commemorate the legacy of this day, which began in 2007 after two Nova Scotia high school students took a stand against bullying. As we wear pink, we honor their courage and reaffirm our commitment to kindness, respect, and compassion. Let us continue to build a community where everyone feels safe and valued, and where bullying has no place. Together, let's stand against bullying and promote a culture of inclusivity and empathy.
