Library and Moore House Parking Lots
The Town appreciates everyone’s patience and understanding while these two (2) lots are under construction. Residents are encouraged to utilize other municipal lots within the downtown core and on-street parking is also available on adjacent streets. Should residents need assistance accessing the Library, please call the Library at (613) 257-2702 to make arrangements or use the convenient curbside pick-up location on Beckwith Street.
Next week Thomas Cavanagh Construction Ltd. will be removing and replacing damaged sections of the concrete curbs.
Lemaistre Street, Blair Street, and Judson Street
Where needed, crews will be removing damaged sections of the curbs and sidewalks in preparation for new concrete to be poured.
Alexander Street
Crews will be replacing and grading the granular base in preparation for new asphalt. If time and weather permit, new asphalt will be laid towards the end of the week.
Nelson Street West
Staff are currently sampling the watermain and should the test results be favourable, crews will begin the process of reconnecting services to the new watermain.
Ramsay Street
Paving operations are anticipated towards the end of the week.
The Town of Carleton Place would like to ensure everyone’s safety and encourage residents, when possible, to avoid these active construction areas. Residents must follow posted signage, and the directions provided by traffic control personnel when they are present.
