Winterfest

Spend your day in Carleton Place as we celebrate Winterfest on November 23rd! Start your adventure with a free Public Skate from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00p.m., at the Carleton Place Arena (75 Neelin Street), proudly sponsored by Carleton Place Rona!

Head downtown for more wintry adventures before making your way to the Market Square Pavilion (7 Beckwith Street) for additional Winterfest festivities from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Winterfest is a free, family-friendly event for all ages to kick off the Holiday season. Enjoy roaming carolers and busker entertainers, free horse-drawn wagon rides, and a Night Market with sidewalk sales.

Market Square will be an ideal place to begin or end your Winterfest adventure. Visit the Rona Warming Station for a comfy seat and a warm place to mingle. Say cheese & hop into some beautiful photo backdrops, and then make a winter-themed craft.

Grab a delicious meal or snack with our on-site vendors, and get ready for some great live entertainment including:

4:00 p.m.: Monkey Rock Music. This one-hour interactive show is suitable for children of all ages and participants will be invited to join the band!

4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.: Join us for special meet & greet visits with Princess Anna and Queen Elsa!

5:15 p.m.: Skyler Radmore & Jalya Kirkey

6:30 p.m.: We invite you to join us for our Tree Lighting Ceremony, with our special guest: Jim McCready (2024 Citizen of the Year)

6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.: Carleton Places’ very own Small Town Socials turn up the party. Don’t forget your dancing shoes!
