Attention: Residents of O’Donovan Drive, Mississippi Shores Subdivision

RE: Mississippi Shores Apartment Block – Underground Utility Upgrades

Please be advised that Thomas Cavanagh Construction Ltd. will be undertaking construction work within the municipal right-of-way in front of your property as part of utility upgrades to service the adjacent apartment block on the west side of O’Donovan Drive. This may include shallow excavations within the front lawn of your property. See the sketch below for a general scope of work, and limits of excavations.

Schedule & Operations
Construction is anticipated to begin on May 14th, 2026, and will consist of approximately three (3) to four (4) weeks of excavation and utility installation, followed by approximately three (3) weeks of restoration work (weather dependent). Work will generally occur between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

All work will be contained within the municipal right-of-way, and any open excavations will be fenced, plated, and/or secured at the end of each day for safety. While most work will not directly impact driveway access, there may be minor, short-duration disruptions in the immediate area. Two (2) lanes of traffic are expected to be maintained on O’Donovan Drive for the majority of construction; however, there may be times when traffic is reduced to a single lane. One (1) full-day road closure is anticipated to complete a road crossing, with appropriate signage and detours provided.

Restoration
Please note that all disturbed areas will be restored to pre-construction condition or better. Any damage from excavations or equipment within your front lawn will be restored with topsoil and grass seed.
