The following table summarizes planned activity at each active construction site this week.

| Water Treatment Plant Expansion and Wastewater Treatment Plant | Crews will continue drilling and blasting operations at both sites for rock removal. To stay on schedule for construction of the new Membrane Bioreactor Treatment building (located on the site of the former Compost Yard), crews will work throughout the day on Saturday, September 27, 2025. This may not be ideal for nearby residents; it’s necessary to keep the project on schedule while weather conditions remain favourable. |
| Captain A. Roy Brown Extension and McEachen Drive Construction | Crews have mobilized to begin installing the storm sewer and catch basins, followed by watermain installation. |
| Charles Street | Crews will apply and grade granular material in preparation for paving operations and iron adjustments. |
| St. Paul Street | Crews will apply and grade granular material in preparation for paving operations and iron adjustments. |
| Findlay Pump Station | Over the next week, crews will pour the buoyancy ring on the wet well and the building footing. |

Stay Safe Near Construction Zones
For everyone’s safety, the Town of Carleton Place and its contractors ask residents to find alternate routes around active construction zones. If you’re unable to find an alternate route, please reduce your speed and follow the directions provided by flag crews and posted signage. Our goal is for everyone to get home safely at the end of each day.
