Curbside Leaf Collection
The curbside collection of leaves begins on Monday, October 28th. This collection period is limited and will end Friday, November 8th.
Due to the massive volume of leaves that are placed at the curb, Public Works is requesting your patience as it will take some time for the leaves to be collected. Please leave your bags at the curb and we will do our best to collect them in a timely manner.
Please follow these few rules to ensure collection in a timely manner:
· Leaves must be placed at the curb in paper bags before 8:00 a.m.
· Leaves in plastic bags will NOT be collected!
· Bags of leaves must NOT exceed 15kgs (33lbs). Bags exceeding the weight limit will NOT be collected.
Compost Yard
Residents can continue to deliver leaf and yard waste to the Compost Yard (located at 128 Patterson Cres.) each Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. until Saturday, November 9th (weather permitting).
