The Carleton Place Recreation & Culture Department is pleased to offer a variety of programs and special events for residents of all ages and abilities. Below you will find the current programs that are being offered by the Department and their locations. Carambeck Community Centre Programming- 351 Bridge Street
Infant Feeding Clinic: Every Wednesday: pre-registration is required. Please visit https://healthunit.org/clinics-classes/infant-feeding-clinic/ for more information
Indoor Walking: Tuesdays and Thursdays 1-2pm. There is no fee for this program.
Drop-In Basketball: Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:00pm – 3:15pm. There is no fee for this program, all are welcome.

Parents & Tots Valentine’s Day Dance- February 9, 2025
The Town of Carleton Place is pleased to present the Valentine’s Parents & Tots Dance Party from 9:30a.m.-11:30a.m at the Carleton Place Arena- 75 Neelin Street.

The Town of Carleton Place is pleased to present the “Seniors Take Charge” seminar series starting on Tuesday, February 18th.
This 10-part series is aimed at empowering residents with information to allow them to continue to thrive in Carleton Place.

Tuesday, March 18: “Make the Right Call” Ontario 211 Services
Thursday, March 20: “Downsizing 101” with Michale Fyke Realty

Thursday, March 27: “Health Enhancements & Aids” with Houle Healthcare
Each session will begin at 1:00p.m and will be an hour in length. Each session begins at 1:00pm. Sessions include complimentary snacks & refreshments, as well as community-minded conversation. Interested participants may choose to register for the entire series, or individual topics. Please note- the capacity per session is 25 attendees.
