55+ Expo

June 4 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Mark your calendar for a day designed to celebrate and support the 55+ community.

Date: Thursday, June 4th Location: Carleton Place Arena, 75 Neelin Street, Carleton Place Time: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This free event is your opportunity to explore local services, discover practical resources, and connect with the people and places you love. Whether you’re looking to stay active, explore new programs, or access support that helps you live well in your own home, the Expo has something for you.

Expo 55+ rotates throughout the community—having been held in Almonte last year and planned for Pakenham next year. This rotation helps build continuity and encourages residents to anticipate the event each year. It also highlights the strong sense of collaboration across our communities and our commitment to working together.

You’ll find information and inspiration in three key areas: Your Health – wellness, nutrition, fitness, and care.   Your Home – safety, comfort, and support for aging in place.  Your Community – services, social connection, and engagement

Wondering How to Stay Safe, Savvy, and Prepared? Throughout the day, there will be a series of short, informative presentations on topics that matter to the 55+ community—everything from fraud prevention and personal safety to emergency preparedness and even a few tech tips. It’s a great opportunity to hear from local experts and take away helpful, practical information. No need to register—just drop in and enjoy!

A Free Gift! Arrive early for a little something special! We’ll be giving away complimentary tote bags to visitors while supplies last. Perfect for collecting materials as you explore the Expo. Quantities are limited, so be sure to come early and pick one up!

Proudly presented in partnership:

This event is hosted by Home Hospice North Lanark in partnership with the Town of Carleton Place. We’re grateful for the Municipality’s ongoing support and shared commitment to strengthening community connection and healthy aging.
