The Public Works Department will be conducting an intensive hydrant flushing program throughout the Town of Carleton Place starting April 22nd, 2025. Crews will be flushing hydrants for the next few weeks throughout Carleton Place.
During flushing activities, it is possible that the water may appear slightly discolored within the general area where flushing is taking place. Should this occur, turn on your cold water tap and allow the water to run for approximately 20 to 30 minutes to allow the discolored water to clear your pipes.
