Road Resurfacing Work Scheduled to Begin on Townline Road Thursday, August 28th

Road resurfacing will be taking place on a section of Townline Road east of Highway 7 from Edwards Drive to McNeely Avenue beginning Thursday, August 28th.

“Lanark County has retained Miller Paving Ltd. to conduct micro-surfacing on Townline Road, which will take approximately one (1) week to complete. Micro surfacing is an important investment in maintaining safe, reliable roads for our communities,” explained Public Works Manager Sam Poole

During resurfacing operations, drivers can expect temporary lane closures and minor traffic delays. Access for residents and businesses will be maintained. The public is reminded to follow the directions of all traffic control signage and personnel throughout the duration of the work.

The County of Lanark thanks residents and motorists for their patience as this important roadway maintenance is completed.
